Content Coordinator Job Description

  • Responsible for managing the creation, editing, and distribution of digital content
    across various platforms such as website, social media, and email campaigns,
    ensuring consistency with brand aesthetic and mission.
  • Coordinates with different take heart team members and Owner to gather content
    and monitors its performance to optimize reach and engagement with our target
    audience: our customers and potential customers.
  • Key duties include creating content, writing and editing copy, managing content
    approval with Owner, and analyzing content metrics to identify areas for
    improvement (ie. A/B testing).
  • Graphic design skills to create content optimized for use on social media and
    marketing channels.
  • Takes quality on brand photos and videos of take heart on a monthly basis.
  • Upload and publish content, including product photos, on the take heart website
    and social media platforms.
  • Available to meet with Owner for marketing strategy conversations every 2-4 weeks, along with providing Owner monthly reports on metrics.
  • Proofread and fact-check content for accuracy and consistency.
  • Proactive with PR on a monthly basis and is up to date with and understands
    marketing trends. Pitching ideas to periodicals and social media outlets about take
    heart.
  • Knows how to ride the algorithm wave and is able to do so in a tasteful way. Comfortable and experienced making reels.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Optimize content for SEO.
  • Monthly Email Blasts per year, including two in December. Email Blasts are to share
    with our customers about new products, inspiring words, messages from the shop,
    and shop updates. These are especially important before holidays such as
    Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Christmas/Hanukkah.
  • This position requires a patient, collaborative, reliable, creative, and tech savvy individual.
  • This position will be a thought partner with the Owner. We are looking for a creative individual with new ideas for take heart.
  • A brand ambassador. This person is interested in and capable of capturing the spirit and aesthetic of take heart.

Requirements for Position:

  • This position is based in Austin, Texas.
  • Minimum two years experience in content creation, digital marketing and/or social
    media management.
  • Previous graphic design, photography, videography, and social media management
    job experience.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
  • Proficiency in content management systems.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Extremely reliable and accountable with a strong value system including honesty, integrity, kindness, professionalism, dedication and trustworthiness.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently as well as collaboratively.
  • A proactive self starter with a growth mindset.
  • A fan of take heart and an interest in the products sold.

Job details -
Starting $24.00 / hr commensurate with experience / 25-40 hours per month.
